Kenny/Tony

A little over 11 years ago, I said "for better or worse", right now isn't exactly better or worse, just somewhere in between. Billy went to work (12 hour shifts) last week and quickly came to the realization that it was not doing him any good. So he took a 90 day disability leave. So this summer, it's the 5 of us, ALL day, EVERY day. He had his 2nd appointment to reset the bone today. This time he came medicated, highly medicated. Still hurt though. He will continue this for the 6-8 weeks.

Sunday, we went to church. He knew he would catch some grief and some laughter due to the nature of the accident, but he took it all in stride. I went to Walmart in search of a value-priced shirt that was meant to meet a pair of scissors. We have kindly named this shirt ritual "Making it the Half Kenny Chesney". Cutting off the left sleeve to ensure it to get up and over the cast which goes all the way up above his shoulder. One lady at church found out about his injury and said her new name for him is "Tony" (Tony Hawk). I say, "Here kenny, kenny, kenny". Now we just need a pooka shell necklace and a guitar and voila KC. The only part of Kenny Billy is interested in is "have a little beer in Mexico" right about now.
